Because We Believe
horsemanship is a lifelong journey, and people can enjoy horses at any age.
Who says horses are just for kids? Lots of people learn to ride as adults. Horsemanship is a journey that can last a lifetime.
Why not start now? At Three Strides Horsemanship, we understand that learning new skills as an adult can be challenging, both physically and mentally. That’s why we offer more than just weekly riding lessons to our adult students. Each month, our adult students gather for a Rider Strength Training Workshop. They also have the opportunity to attend a dressage clinic hosted by national dressage trainer, Rebecca Stromatt.
Why Our Adult Students Choose Us - And Stick With Us
“Kara is an AMAZING riding teacher! She clearly understands her students, and chooses just the right way to explain things to each individual.”
Toni, Adult Student
Our typical adult student is someone who rode as a kid, whether once or twice or more regularly, but never owned a horse. They would love to spend all day at the barn, but riding once or twice a week is all their schedule allows. They want to ride correctly, but they don’t have Olympic aspirations. Some students hope to own a horse some day, and some are content with weekly lessons.
Sound familiar? Many adults look for this type of program, but struggle to find the right fit. Most of the barns in the area cater to experienced adults who want to compete and have their own horse.
At Three Strides, our goal is to provide you with a safe, fun, and educational atmosphere to enjoy horses, both on the ground and in the saddle, no matter how experienced you are. We will work with you to set and achieve horsemanship goals.
Our current adult students are a lot fun, and will happily talk about horses with you. Even if everyone else thinks you are “horse-crazy”, you will likely feel at home with us.
